Friday, September 17, 2010. Our hike up to Muir was crappy. It was foggy, raining, sleeting, and snowing. The cloud level was around 9200 feet, so we were in the muck up through part of the Muir Snowfield. It was a long hike, but with the breaks, I felt pretty good upon arrival to Muir. Roping up to begin our Summit Climb. Bring a pair of sneakers for Camp Muir and possibly part of the hike up and down from Muir.
